Thompson Online offers K-12, full-time and part-time enrollment options. For more information, visit Thompson Online.

The deadline for fall paperwork is May 1.

High School 2013 Summer Options

This year there will be two options available for high school students needing or wanting to take summer classes. The deadline to register is May 31, 2013.

New Lunch Money Online Service

Thompson School District is no longer using MyLunchMoney.com.

For parents who want to go online to put money in their students’ accounts, the new online service is:

Info you will need:

  • Student ID#
  • First & last name as entered in the school system
  • Address as entered in the school system
  • Birth date

 

Is Your Student Missing Homework or Class Work Because of Absence?

Please contact teachers directly through Parent Portal for any homework or class work missed due to student absences.  If you have concerns or need additional help, please contact Karen Hamilton, principal’s secretary, at 613-5228.

High School Standardized Testing Programs

While your student is at LHS, they will have standardized testing as freshman, sophomores, and juniors. They may opt to take national tests during senior year as well. For more information on the standardized testing programs, click here.

School Advisory and Accountability Committee (SAAC) Meetings

The SAAC meetings will be held the first Tuesday of every month at 7 PM in the LHS library. SAAC exists to promote the open exchange of ideas and advice between the school administration and any involved citizens interested in LHS. Meetings are open to all and are planned for a 1.5 hour duration.

From the Principal

Dear Loveland High Community,

In light of current events such as the Mayan calendar controversy and the tragedy in Newtown, CT, we want to assure you that we are vigilant in our efforts to provide the safest environment for our students and staff. These concerns have prompted the LHS staff and administration to listen to our students and families carefully.  In cooperation with the Loveland Police Department we investigate any and all concerns raised. We encourage you to share any information with administration that may impact the safety and security of our students and staff.

LHS will be conducting finals and completing our academic semester as scheduled in order to maintain routine and ensure a sound academic environment for our school.

We encourage you to speak with your children about these situations and school violence and how to deal appropriately with any anxiety it may be causing them.

Pool Admission Fees

Open swim times for the remainder of the year are:

  • Tuesday and Thursday: 6-7:30 am
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 11 am-1pm
