Peer Ambassadors Sponsor 12-12-12 Challenge
What would our world look like if every person did one good deed for someone else every hour for 12 hours? The Peer Ambassadors at Loveland High would like to know.
December 12, 2012, designated by 12-12-12, is the only day of its kind that most of us will see in our lifetimes. So we challenge every student and staff member to make history that day.
Here's the challenge: for twelve hours on 12-12-12 do one nice thing each hour.
Here are some ideas:
• Open the door for someone
• Write a thank you note
• Say hi and introduce yourself to someone you don't know
• Look for someone eating alone at lunch and invite them to eat with you
• Let someone else go first in line
• Thank a staff member for helping you
• Thank your parent for attending a game or doing your laundry

Mission Statement
We, as Peer Ambassadors, will strive to break down barriers and promote a positive environment by encouraging acceptance, growth and trust in the school community.
Who Are We?
We are junior and senior students who work with the LHS school counselors to offer support and resources to our peers. We meet once a week during lunch or after school to receive information and training that will help us be effective in helping others.
What do we do?
-Mentor new students who come to LHS
-Help other students with school related problems
-Speak at middle schools to assist 8th graders with their transition to high school
-Participate on a panel or do activities in freshman focus classes
-Lead 9th grade Orientation Day with the Student Council
-Present on school and teen related issues in Health classes
-Serve as a Loveland High School leader
What qualities should a peer ambassador have?
-Confident communicator

-Relate well with a diverse group of people
