| Counselor | I have been at LHS since 2007. After receiving my counseling degree at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I worked for 3 years as an elementary school counselor and then worked for 4 years. as a middle school counselor in Virginia. I also was an adjunct instructor for the University of Virginia’s College at Wise. Prior to starting my family, I received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and taught elementary school for several years. I have a daughter, Katie who is a graduate of Elon University who lives and works in New York and a son Drew who will be a sophomore at Rollins College in Florida. When not working....I enjoy my dogs, walking, running, hiking, reading, floral design, gardening, and cooking. |

I am in my 10th year at Loveland High School and my 33rd year in education as an educator and counselor. I hold a BA in Social Science and Special Needs--Hearing Impaired from UNC along with my MA in Education in Counseling and Guidance from CSU. I am one of those rare creatures in Colorado who is actutally a Native of Colorado. I was born and raised in the Denver area, lived in Buena Vista, and then came to Loveland. "I am excited to begin my second year at Loveland High School. After spending last year in both the counseling office and Career Center, I look forward to working with a new group of LHS students. I earned my BA at the University of Michigan and MA in school counseling at Michigan State University. Since the move west, I have thoroughly enjoyed a new lifestyle in Colorado. My professional interests include career advising and college preparation. Outside of school, I enjoy playing golf, cooking, traveling, and listening to live music. " |
