Dr. Fred Dreier
Principal

The 2009-2010 school year marks my 40th year in education and my third year at Loveland High School. I am honored to be the principal and continue assisting Loveland High School in being the best.

My career in education includes a variety of teaching and administrative experiences. Foremost, I was a high school teacher for 25 years. During those years I also taught part time as a community college instructor and adjunct professor. As an administrator, I have served as assistant principal, high school principal, and associate superintendent before coming to Loveland High School. Of all my administrative experiences, the high school principalship provides me the most professional joy - life in high school is never boring.

Again, it's an honor to be the principal of Loveland High School and I am looking forward to many years to come.

In July of 2009, Mr. Elias was one of 52 educators in the US to be honored as an Apple Distinguished Educator.

Prior tocoming to Loveland, he was an assistant principal at Greeley West HighSchool. He began his career in Broward County, Florida, where he taught math and physics, worked as an instructional technologist, and a high school assistant principal.

He lives in Loveland with his wife, two kids, and an assortment of Apple gadgets. When he's not at work, he enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and photography.
