Spanish Honor Society

When do they meet?:
There are no regular meetings. There is an annual ceremony in May to initiate new members.

Where do they meet?:
The annual initiation ceremony is held in the LHS auditorium. Listen to KLHS for information on how to apply for special scholarships.

Prerequisites:
Must be in grades 10, 11, or 12 and maintain an honor average in Spanish for a minimum of three semesters. Must be recommended by a Spanish teacher.

Cost:
one-time dues of $7 at the time of induction into the organization.

The purpose of Spanish Honor Society is to recognize and promote high achievement in Spanish. It is an academic organization and not a club, so there are no regular meetings and no elections of officers. A notation of membership in the Spanish Honor Society will be made on each member's transcript. Members will be notified of special scholarship opportunities and how to apply for them.
