Colorado Outdoor Youth

Colorado Youth Outdoors 
Wednesday nights from 6–7:30 PM 
JROTC room, Loveland High School

Mission Statement: Colorado Youth Outdoors (CYO) exists to strengthen relationships between youth and their parents through traditional outdoor activities that foster family interaction and encourage life-long participation.

To parents and students:
Colorado Youth Outdoors offers outdoor educational and recreational programs to LHS students and their parents at no cost. In the CYO program, parents participate with their LHS student for two years of curriculum. What a great way to spend quality time with each other! 

Loveland High School CYO Activities Include:
  • Fly fishing
  • Spin fishing
  • Trap shooting
  • Survival skills
  • Hunter education
  • Orienteering
  • Fly tying
  • Archery
Most classes are held at LHS. Archery and trap shooting are taught at the CYO outdoor education facility.

Cost: There is no cost for the program. CYO is limited to 
40 participants…
20 students and 20 parents!!
