Forensics: / (fa ren' siks) Of, used in, or suitable to courts of justice, or public speaking and debate.
The Loveland High School Forensics team consists of about 26 students, each of whom compete in different events. The invents include:
1. Duet Acting
2. Duo Acting
3. Humor
4. Drama
5. Poetry
6. Original Oratory
7. Extemporous Speaking
8. Lincoln-Douglas Debates
9. Creative Storytelling
Everyone on the team likes to talk, act, argue, dramatize, laugh and write speeches. If anyone is interested in joining Forensics, talk to Ms. Dunn. The Forensics team is always looking for new and exciting members to add spice to the group. Forensics is a speech debate and drama team that participates in competitions involving speaking, debating, and acting. It is considered the number one activity to have on a college resume. Forensics encourages advanced speech skills and promotes self confidence and success.
Forensics is not all about speaking and debating. The Forensics team does fund raisers also. One of the best known fundraisers that the Forensics team does is the Mr. Loveland High Contest.
