River Watch
River Watch is an organization that monitors watersheds
throughout Colorado. The Colorado Division of Wildlife sponsors
the different programs at schools and supplies training and support.
The Loveland High School chapter focuses on the quality of
water in the Big Thompson River, and the health of the surrounding watershed.
We sample the river water at least once per month and run tests for
hardness, alkalinity, pH metals, and dissolved oxygen.
