NHS

The four pillars of the National Honor Society are
scholarship, leadership, character, and service.
We focus on all of these through out the year in meetings
and in service opportunities.

NHS Officers
Congratulations to our new National Honor Society officers for 2008_2009:

Requirements for NHS membership:

-Pay $5 dues: Deadline is in November and can be paid to any officer.

-Attend at least 2 meetings throughout the year.
Our meetings are the first Tuesday of every month.

-20 hours of community service for the year.
We provide some opportunities through service projects for members during the year with a 3.8 as Freshman and Sophomores or with a 3.7 as Junior or Senior.

-Fulfill grade requirement: After inducted into NHS, members grade point average
must be at least 3.5 or member will be dismissed
from NHS and cannot regain membership

-If any of the requirements are not fulfilled , members will be dismissed from NHS
and cannot regain membership.

To letter in NHS

-Membership requirements must be fulfilled and member must have a cumulative G.P.A of at least 3.8 by the end of the third quarter.
