The LHS wrestling squad pulled a hat trick at 5A State Championships this past weekend. The 5A field of 64 teams brought the state's best wrestlers to the Pepsi Center for the annual showdown. Loveland's squad qualified 7 wrestlers for the state competition. The team lost 5 matches in the quarter-finals but launched a 17 match-winning streak to vault the team to a third place state finish. Garrett V. and Jordan H. won five straight matches each to place third. Sophomore, Sam K. notched up 4 wins to place fourth. Senior Chance L., capped his career with a trip to the finals where he lost a close match to the returning state champion to place second. Connor M. won his second state championship in dominating fashion pinning 3 of his 4 opponents. This season ended his second undefeated campaign. Kyle W. and Shawn J. concluded their careers with three state victories.
Athletes: Register for Spring Sports
Attention Spring Athletes: The Athletic Office is now taking registrations for spring sports. If you plan to play Baseball, Girls Golf, Girls Soccer, Girls Tennis, Boys Swimming and Diving or Track, there is paperwork to fill out even if you participated in a fall or winter sport. The District Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams are offered through Thompson Valley HS and they are currently taking registrations as well. Stop by the Athletic Office if you have any questions.
The athletic packet (which includes physical, parent permission to play and training rules.) Available at the LHS athletic office.
The athletic fee of $125. There is a $325.00 family limit for athletic fees. (Athletic fees are subject to change.)

Clearance Cards
These 3 items must be turned into Ms. Hiatt and then the student will be issued a clearance card.
An athlete will not be issued a clearance card if they have fines; all fines must be paid prior to receiving a clearance card. On the 1st official date of practice if the student does not have a clearance card they will not be allowed to practice until they are issued the clearance card.
