Frequent Reader Cards
Attention book lovers. The LHS Library has started the Frequent Reader Card program. Read five books from the LHS library and receive a $1 gift certificate to the school store. Read 5 more and receive a $2 gift certificate. When you have read 15 books, a $10 Barnes & Noble gift card will be your reward. Start your Frequent Reader Card today.

Library Hours
The library will be open from 7 AM to 4 PM. Please come in and use our resources. In the heat of summer, it is a cool place to read, research, and write!

Media Center Poetry Contest 2009
Thanks to everyone who entered poetry and who read their poems at the Day of Poetry. Read all the submitted poems. Congratulations to the winners!

When you check out books from the LHS library, join the Frequent Reader Club!! For the first 5 books you read, we will give you a $1 gift certificate to STARS. The next 5 will earn you a $2 certificate to STARS. When you check out a total of 15 books, you earn a $10 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble.

Ms. Rogers is the LHS Librarian
Welcome to Ms. Rogers, who replaced Ms. May as the librarian at the LHS Media Center. Ms. May left LHS to become the district media director. Ms. Rogers, who was the librarian at MVHS, is excited to be a part of the LHS community.

LHS Media Center has 3 new online databases to help with your research: CQ Researcher, CultureGrams, and CQ Voting and Elections.
