Pre-Arranged Absence Forms
Pre arranged absence forms need to be completed for any student planning to not be in attendance during finals due to a preplanned family vacation or trip or extenuating circumstances. Students need to get signatures from each teacher one week prior to the absence date.
Forms may be picked up in the attendance office.
LHS Results at UNC World Language Day State Competition
The TSD World Languages students were very successful at this year’s UNC World Language Day State Competition.
Here are the results for LHS :

Rep Visits

Speakers Chosen for Graduation
At the senior class meeting last week, we had six wonderful speeches given by great students. Thanks to Austin, Cristin & Bethany, Dana, Alexandria, Skyler & Kaitlyn, and Graham for all of their hard work and preparations for the speeches they gave last week.
The two students who were chosen by the senior class to give speeches at graduation are Austin and Graham. Congratulations!

Congratulations Choir Students
Congratulations to the LHS choir students who auditioned for All-State Choir! Loveland High School had 10 students selected this year, the most in the history of the choir program! The students were selected from among 2100 students who auditioned across the state and represent the top 1% of all high school singers.
Marching Band Takes First Place
The Loveland HS Crimson Regiment took first place in 4A on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the CBA Northern Regional and earned a bye into the semi-final round of the CBA State competition. Thank you to all who came out to support the band last night and good luck to the Crimson Regiment as they prepare for State. If you have a minute to look at the video it would be worth your time. Library Extended Hours, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Students, the library media center has extended its hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays! We are open now until 4:30 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays, for your homework, computer and study group needs!

STARS Offers Burritos on Wednesdays for $2.75
Who loves burritos? I think the more important question is who DOESN’T love burritos?! That’s right, students and staff! The school store has Burrito Wednesdays, starting at 9:15. We have both egg and potato breakfast burritos, and rice and bean burritos from Dorothy’s Catering here in Loveland. For $2.75, you can have your fill of deliciousness!
New Items at the School Store
Come on down to the school store between classes and on your off block and see what is new. We have many flavors of teas and iced drinks. We also have bagels and burritos. Bagels are $1.50 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and $1 on Friday. Burritos are $2.50 on Wednesday. We will be holding drawings for various items in the school store this semester. So come on down and check it out.
