What is AP biology? A course designed to challenge students? Definitely. A class in which students learn to work together? Of course. A time in which students learn new thought processes and grow out into the world of science? Naturally. But what makes Loveland High’s AP Biology course different from all the others across the country? What could be better for a class that is learning about the class and phylum of a tarantula than to be able to really see the characteristics that place it there? Or to be able to truly observe the behaviors of a wallaby, instead of just reading about them?
