The LHS science classes are diverse, fun, and never boring!
The required classes, Geo Physical Lab and Biology, are full of hands-on labs and activities that stimulate learning.
The elective courses offer a wide variety of material to appeal to every taste. Aside from classes, there are clubs for interested students.

- MESA directed towards students interested in science careers who are stimulated by creative and challenging activities and projects.
- River Watch for students who have a passion for the outdoors.
