Bio: Mr. Hollweg has been teaching English at Loveland High since 2006. He has taught ninth through twelfth grade, and anything from journalism to creative writing to World Literature. His degee is in English Literature and Language from CSU and has done his graduate work at Arizona State University, Portland State, and CSU. Bio: Ms. Jantz has been a loyal fan of the red and black since 2002. She has her BA and MA in Speech Communication from the UNC. A native Missourian, Ms. Jantz spent 3 years at the University of Kansas before getting married and moving to Colorado in 1993. After teaching at UNC, AIMS and Front Range, she saw the light and made her way to LHS. Ms. Jantz is the Student Council advisor and the newspaper advisor. When she's not at school, she spends time with her friends and family, and enjoys traveling, photography and the arts. Bio: Mrs. Nebergall earned a B.S. in French from Iowa State Univ. and an M.A. in Composition and Literature from the Univ. of N. Iowa . She taught French and English in Iowa high schools, composition at UNI, and was an AP exam reader for six years. She began teaching at LHS in 2000, and she taught one summer at CSU in the Upward Bound Program. She used to like hiking in the mountains until the day she saw a mountain lion. Bio: My teaching career began in elementary schools working with Gifted and Talented students. When I moved up to Middle School I continued my own education to become highly qualified in secondary literacy. I currently hold a B.A. in Fine Arts with an emphasis in education and a Master of Education with a focus on curriculum and instructional design. When I'm not teaching or going to school I enjoy skiing and riding my horse. I work as a volunteer with my dog, who is a registered therapy animal, working with abused children at a local safehouse. But most of my free time is dedicated to my husband and our new baby girl. Courses: Read 180 English 9 and 10 |
