The Red and Black Schedule system was adopted by LHS in the fall of 2004. This schedule offers 8 class periods over the course of two days, each with a time span of 95 minutes. Classes equivalent to 1 credit are offered every other day for the entire school year. Classes that are .5 credits are every other day for a semester. Advanced Placement (AP) classes, which are 1.5 credits, run every day during semester 1 and then every other day during semester 2.
